A bachelor party boat charter in Tampa Bay should be the easy part of the weekend. You bring the crew and the drinks. We bring the boat, the captain and the sound system. Optional add-ons like a professional DJ, bottle service and a photographer are there if you want to turn it up.

The Bachelor Party Boat Rental Tampa Groups Actually Want: Private, Captained, BYOB

Gone are the days of crusty captains and underwhelming pontoon boats. Our bachelor party charters run on Adventure I, a deck boat over 26 feet with a premium sound system, color-changing lights, faux-leather seating and a swim platform off the back. It is USCG licensed for up to 12 guests, which covers most bachelor parties with room to spare, and your captain is included on every trip.

That captain is the difference between a bachelor party boat rental and a charter. On a rental, one of you holds the license, stays sober, finds the sandbar, docks the boat and carries the liability. On our charter the captain does all of that, and every guy in the group gets to be a guest. No boating license, no experience and no designated driver required.

Where a Tampa bachelor party boat goes

The classic bachelor route is Beer Can Island and the sandbars around it: anchor in waist-deep water, float, throw a frisbee, and let the speakers do the work. The other classic is a bar crawl by water through downtown Tampa, docking at waterfront spots like Armature Works and reboarding when the round is done. Six hours fits both. Four hours fits one. Eight hours means nobody looks at a clock.

Pickup, timing and the BYOB rules

We depart from the Davis Island Boat Ramp, with Armature Works and most public docks in downtown Tampa available as pickup points, so the boat can meet the group near the hotel or the Airbnb. Every charter is BYOB with iced cooler space under every seat; water and sunscreen are on board already. Book at least 48 hours ahead, and know that weekends in spring and fall go first. Groups bigger than 12 book a sister charter on two boats, so a 20-man bachelor party still rides together.

Choose Your Charter Length

This is the most important decision for your bachelor party.

4-Hour Charter

A 4-hour bachelor party boat is best if you want to focus on one main experience.

Choose one:

  • Bars and Downtown Cruise: Cruise through Downtown Tampa, dock at waterfront bars, and keep the party moving.
  • Island Swim Day: Head straight to the islands or sandbars, anchor up, swim, and party on the water.

Four hours is not ideal for doing both without feeling rushed. If your group wants to mix island time and bar hopping, consider upgrading.

6-Hour Charter (Recommended)

If you want to bar hop and hit the islands, six hours is the right move.

This is our most popular bachelor party format because it allows time to:

  • Cruise through downtown
  • Dock at one or two waterfront bars
  • Spend real time at the islands or sandbars
  • Relax without constantly watching the clock

Six hours gives your group flexibility without turning the day into a marathon.

8-Hour Charter (Optional)

For groups that want maximum flexibility, the 8-hour charter gives you a full-day format.

This option is ideal if you want to:

  • Visit multiple party spots
  • Take your time at Beer Can Island
  • Dock and dine
  • Add tubing or extended swim sessions
  • Possibly travel further, conditions permitting

It is the most customizable option and best for the do-it-all bachelor crews.

Bachelor Party Stops & Routes

Routes are flexible and always depend on weather conditions and your group's preferences. Your captain will help map out a realistic plan for the day.

Beer Can Island

One of the most popular party stops in the bay, Beer Can Island offers swim time, high-energy crowds, and a strong party atmosphere. It is ideal for bachelor groups who want to anchor, jump in, float, and socialize.

On longer charters, this is often a featured stop.

Bar Hop Style Stops

If your group prefers dock-and-dine energy, we can cruise through Downtown Tampa and stop at waterfront bars such as:

Dock, grab drinks, reboard, and continue cruising. The route stays efficient and within comfortable boating distance.

Exact stops vary based on timing, dock availability, and conditions.

Bachelor Party Boat FAQs

Is a bachelor party boat charter the same as a bachelor party boat rental?

With us, yes, with one difference that matters: the captain is included. You get the whole boat for up to 12 guests, a USCG-licensed captain drives, and nobody needs a boating license or has to stay sober to run the boat. Rental marketplaces hand you the keys and the liability; a charter hands you a captain.

How many people can a bachelor party boat hold?

Twelve guests per boat under our Coast Guard licensing. For a bachelor party of 13 to 24 we run a sister charter: two boats on the same route that anchor side by side at every stop, so the whole group stays together.

Can we bring our own alcohol on a bachelor party boat in Tampa?

Yes. Every charter is BYOB, with cooler space and ice under every seat. We cannot sell alcohol, so bring what the group drinks. Everyone drinking must be 21 or older. We can also dock at waterfront bars along the Riverwalk if you want to mix in a bar stop.

Can we do Beer Can Island and bar hop in one bachelor party charter?

On a 6-hour or 8-hour charter, yes. Four hours is enough for one of the two: either anchor at the islands and swim, or cruise downtown and dock at a bar or two. Most bachelor groups take the 6-hour so they can do both without watching the clock.

Guest limit, what's on the boat, what to bring and where we meet are the same on every charter: the FAQ page, what's included and pickup locations.
