Every group celebrates differently. Some crews want a full party setup with a DJ and bottle service, others want a relaxed day on the water or a sunset cruise for a milestone. Our private charters are built around your occasion. You bring the crew, we handle the boat, the captain, and the setup.
Whatever you are celebrating, the setup stays the same: a spacious deck boat, a licensed and insured captain, a serious sound system, and a flexible itinerary built around your group and the weather. Anchor at islands, dock at waterfront bars, or cruise through downtown.
Occasions We Host
We have dedicated guides for the three celebrations we host most:
Bachelor Parties: High-energy days built around island stops and bar hopping. Most groups take the 6-hour so they can anchor at Beer Can Island while the sun is high and still dock downtown on the way back. A DJ, photographer or bottle service are the usual add-ons.
Bachelorette Parties: Champagne toasts, a swim stop, and cruising past the Downtown Tampa skyline at golden hour. Timing the charter around sunset is the single request we get most, and a photographer is worth it if nobody wants to hold a phone all day.
Birthday Parties: The most flexible of the three. The same boat covers a relaxed sandbar afternoon with family and a full party-mode night out, so tell us which end of that you want and we will build the day around it.
Other Celebrations on the Water
These do not have their own guide yet, but we run them regularly:
Proposals: The captain can time the anchor so you drop just before sunset. You choose the backdrop, either a quiet spot off the islands or the downtown skyline behind you. Nearly everyone pairs this with a photographer, who can stay out of sight until it is done.
Anniversaries: Usually a smaller group and a sunset charter, often with a dock-and-dine stop worked into the route.
Graduations: May and June book up fast, so get the date in early. These are often mixed-age groups, and if yours includes younger kids the family-friendly charter is the better fit.
Corporate outings and client entertaining: The twelve-guest cap suits a small team or a client group. These usually stay in the city rather than running out to the islands. Cruise the Riverwalk past Amalie Arena and the Davis Island mansions, with a dock-and-dine stop at Armature Works. One invoice, a professional captain, and nobody from the office has to host the day. Islands are on the table if you want them, just ask.
Celebrating something else? Tell us the occasion and we will help you plan the day around it. If your date lands on Gasparilla, the 4th of July or the Christmas boat parade, those run on their own schedule, so see special events instead.
Which Charter Length Fits Your Occasion
Not sure how long you need? Here is the short version:
- One main thing, either bars or islands: 4 hours
- Bars and islands without watching the clock: 6 hours, the one most groups pick
- All day, multiple stops, no rushing: 8 hours
- A proposal, an anniversary, or golden-hour photos: the sunset charter, available any day of the week
- Night-out energy with a live DJ: the Wave Rave night charter

What Every Occasion Includes
The basics do not change with the occasion. Every charter is capped at twelve passengers under U.S. Coast Guard rules, and for a larger group we run a dual charter with a second boat alongside us on the same route. You get a licensed and insured captain, a premium sound system, coolers with ice, water and towels. Food is not provided, so bring whatever your group wants to eat.
Every trip is BYOB. We do not provide alcohol, so bring what you want to drink. The full list of what is included and what to bring is worth a read before you pack.
Add-Ons That Fit the Occasion
All three are optional and priced separately. A custom-setlist DJ is the one people book most, and it suits bachelor parties and the night charter best. A bottle girl or bottle boy means nobody in your group ends up playing bartender, which matters most on bachelorette and birthday trips. A professional photographer is the one to add for proposals and anything you want to look back on.
